This past Thursday 14th of May we were carrying out various team-building activities. At Geko we believe in its importance, and how it translates directly into a high-performance work team, for all the benefits it provides, both in the short and long term.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These activities allow employees to <\/span>learn <\/b>from each other and <\/span>develop new skills<\/b>, e.g. to achieve a goal, the group has to reach an agreement, which requires good <\/span>communication <\/b>and active <\/span>listening<\/b>. Teamwork enables the <\/span>ability to solve problems<\/b>, work out strategies and <\/span>make decisions<\/b>, and also teaches team members to be <\/span>responsible <\/b>for their decisions and actions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of the activities we carried out in our last team building have been competitive activities such as laser tag. The aim of this type of activity is to encourage <\/span>team spirit <\/b>among employees, allowing them to work with other teams and to improve<\/span> interpersonal relationships<\/b> among employees.<\/span><\/p>\n

In conclusion, this type of event strengthens three basic principles among employees: <\/span>motivation<\/b>, <\/span>teamwork, <\/b>and <\/span>experiences<\/b>, which is why at Geko Cloud we value this type of activity, as it improves the overall results of the company and, at the same time, creates a more <\/span>positive <\/b>and <\/span>collaborative work<\/b> environment, thus improving the company’s <\/span>productivity<\/b>. We are looking forward to the next team-building event to continue growing!<\/span><\/p>\n
